Professor Alsultany is often invited to give lectures at universities, media corporations, and organizations on her various books. She commonly lectures on the history of representations of Arabs and Muslims in the media, media representations post-9/11 in relation to the cultural politics of race, gender, and religion in the U.S., contemporary forms of Islamophobia, and how Muslims have come to be included in diversity politics.
